To successfully grow sales, profitability and market penetration of the company in the Territory assigned (NJ, East PA, MD, DE, VA, Southeast NY)
To support and help implement the Regional Sales Manager’s initiatives.
To help implement the Company’s Sales and Marketing initiatives
Location:
Home office. Base of operation will be somewhere in the Northeast (Jersey – Philly area are ideal). Must be comfortable traveling within Region for a large portion of the time
Travel time: Approx. 60% of the time – plane and car.

Who we are looking for
The KSAPs (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required to effectively Perform) in this position are:
Well experienced and developed in the field of Industrial Hose and Rubber Distribution within same geography/region (Business-to-Business at Manufacturer to Distributor level) – 5 years minimum.
Proven track record in Outside Sales, manning a Territory – 5 years minimum
Mechanical and engineering aptitude - knowledge in the fields of rubber products, hose, fluid conveyance – a must.
Ability to grasp engineering and product application concepts easily.
Strong Interpersonal Skills - Able to build and sustain strong and healthy relationships with team members and customers.
Strong Communication Skills – able to present Self and Company professionally and effectively to customers via telephone, in writing and especially face-to-face.
Strong Organizational Skills (planning, directing, prioritizing, time management).
Extremely comfortable working in outside sales environment, air and road travel, being on the road for a high percentage of time.
Self-directed and self-disciplined, able to thrive working remotely, with little supervision.
Computer literate (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Demonstrated skills and abilities in pricing, distribution cost drivers and margin analysis
Highly motivated and Self-Disciplined, proven track record as an implementor.
Experience in implementation of marketing initiatives such as new product introductions, promotional flyers, mail-outs, etc.
Proven record of professional growth and self-development, a continuous learner
